I have been making scarves out of Minky Cuddle. My daughter, Denise Fensholt and neighbor, Patty Howlett are my models. Next will be the beautiful blue fabric. Very easy to make, difficult to pick the color because so many choices and fluff everywhere while cutting and sewing. But well worth it to have such a pretty result.

The shirt quilt top is finished and ready to quilt. This is for my brother-in-law, Naaman Greer. Each block is made from one of his shirts. We also added a piece of Mom Greer’s apron and paint overalls of Dad Greer. Also there is a block made of Aunt Ray’s dress and Naaman’s slacks from when he was part of the Baker pLaymen. He can talk about each block and this is truly a memory quilt.

I am making this shirt quilt for my brother-in-law. He has kept shirts for many many years. I used a shirt pattern put on a background and bordered by shirt fabric. The special blocks are an apron of my Mother-in-laws and paint overalls of my father-in-law and other special blocks. I am waiting for Naaman to place them and then will sew it together. It makes a great memory quilt.
