Interestingly, though, these "corals" I sculpt are actually inspired by a species called Riftia, which are giant tube worms found on the ocean floor near hydrothermal vents 🪱😜🪱

Bushwick Brooklyn Circa January 2014 ... if you'd have told me that later this same year I'd fall in love with a street artist and go on to be pretty involved in the whole street art scene alongside him (looking at you 😘), I'd have called you crazy 💯 I had no idea who these artists were nor what the was when I took these pictures, so to look back and not only recognize them, but to realize that this was the first of many times I'd see their work in multiple places across the country, and even to have met some of them over the years since then is truly crazy 🤯🤯🤯
