Here it is the announcement you've all been waiting on!!!

It's well known that magician and escape artist Harry Houdini was known globally for his escapes... specifically escaping from a straitjacket while suspended upside down several stories in the air.
What's not well known is that his very first suspended straitjacket escape occurred in downtown Kansas City at 10th and Main in September of 1915... in front of 5000 spectators!
In honor of this, Mayor Lucas has pronounced September as "Harry Houdini Month" in KC! A plaque will be erected at the spot September 11th.
Therefore, the August KC Magic Showcase will be themed around the greatest escape artist of all time!
See some of KC's finest pay homage to the Master by recreating some of his finest stunts!

OK Magic fans... the June KC Magic Showcase is finalized! Come on down to The Bowery Theater (behind the famous Westport Flea Market) on June 18th for some live magic, mystery, and laughs! Your lineup this month:

If you are used to coming to our previous location, the Kick Comedy Theater, please note that beginning with this show and moving forward the KC Magic Showcase is moving to the Westport Bowery - roughly a mile away from the old spot. The Westport Bowery is located in the same building as the famous Westport Flea Market Bar and Grill (817 Westport Rd, Kansas City, MO 64111). The Bowery stage can be accessed from the rear of the building, or you may come right through the front door and make your way to the rear of the building. So grab some food and drink, enter the theater and enjoy the show!
