The Park Hill Trojan Drumline participated in Drummit at the Summit today at Lee’s Summit High School! The kids did an amazing job & brought home 2nd place in their division & 3rd place overall!

** Football Game #1: The first home football game is THIS Friday, August 28th. Game time is 7:00 but you’ll want to find a spot in the bleachers by 6:20 or so to watch the Band march into the stadium & play pregame.

**Spirit Wear - Round 2: this is a great way to show your support from the stands!

We have decided to do a second run on the spirit wear as we recognize that there was a lot going on prior to the parent preview night & some of us totally forgot to order our hoodies for the upcoming cooler weather games!! We will have this order open until 11:45 pm on Thursday, September 3rd with hopes of getting the items to the students at practice on the 10th. Due to the hopefully quick order turn around, this time we will not be including the option to personalize the items.

Payment is due by Friday, September 4th & can be cash or check (made out to Park Hill Marching Band) & put in the red box in the band room outside the directors’ office.

On Friday, 44 students from the Park Hill band program traveled to Columbia to participate in the MSHSAA State Music Festival, held at the University of Missouri. These students qualified for state competition through their efforts at the district contest in March. We brought 35 events to State this year, culminating in 16 solos and 5 ensembles receiving gold medal ratings. Please see the full list of participating events below, and if you see any of these students at PHHS or LEAD, please congratulate them on their hard work and achievement!
