Wonderful news! Love this work.

We’re pleased to announce that the Bank of America Charitable Foundation has awarded the Nelson-Atkins $100,000 to fund conservation efforts for Ursula von Rydingsvard’s monumental sculpture Three Bowls.

The majority of the conservation project will occur later this summer and, in collaboration with von Rydingsvard’s studio, involve revitalization of the guest-favorite sculpture as well as additional measures to strengthen and secure it.

The Nelson-Atkins is thrilled to partner with the studio and receive the support of Bank of America, which continues to demonstrate long-term support of the arts through programs and initiatives like this.
