Psalm 23:1-3

The LORD Is My Shepherd

He guides me to serene meadows, 🌾
leading me to peaceful waters. 🫧
He revives my spirit,
guiding me on paths of integrity,
for the sake of His name. 🧭

Goodnight family. Blessings.

Morning proverb:

Proverbs 25:19-22

👿Trusting in a treacherous man in time of trouble
is like a bad tooth or a foot that slips.
🎤🫂Whoever sings songs to a heavy heart
is like one who takes off a garment on a cold day,
and like vinegar on soda.
🥖💧 If your enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat,
and if he is thirsty, give him water to drink,
☄️🎉for you will heap burning coals on his head,
and the LORD will reward you.

I think the emojis help. May God give you wisdom in all you do in friendship, parenting, and partnerships.

Bless you.

Our night psalm

Psalm 44:6-8

For not in my bow do I trust,
nor can my sword save me.
But you have saved us from our foes
and have put to shame those who hate us.
In God we have boasted continually,
and we will give thanks to your name forever. Selah

May God keep us and search our hearts and reveal where we have put our trust. Bless your name forever Jesus. Thank you for being with us.

This morning, I got to read proverbs with my son and his friend. Proverbs 25:24 stood out to him.

It’s better to live alone in the corner of an attic
than with a quarrelsome wife in a lovely home.

It’s better to be alone than with a mean person.

I love how simply he interpreted that. ♥️

“Prepare the way of the Lord; make His paths straight.” (Matthew 3:3)

Whose path is being made straight?
The path from the Lord to you.

Before a king arrived, the road was cleared—leveled of anything that would hinder his coming.

What blocks the way?
Pride. Fear. Religion. Self-justification.

This isn’t a ladder we climb to reach God.
It’s a road God walks down to reach us.

To repent simply means to turn—to stop resisting truth.

Let truth clear the way.

As Augustine said,
“You would not seek Him if He had not already found you.”

Guy does not wait for us to ascend, He meets us.

🌿 This morning we read from Mark 11, and verse 12 jumped out at me:
Jesus was hungry, saw a fig tree, walked up to it—and it had no fruit. So He cursed it. Like, “No one will ever eat from you again.” 😂

At first, I laughed because… same. When I don’t get what I want, I also feel like cursing trees (or WiFi routers or vending machines).

But the more I sat with it, the more I saw myself in that fig tree.
Jesus wasn’t just hangry—He was making a point.
We are meant to bear fruit.
Real fruit. Not just the appearance of having it all together. 🌸

It’s not enough to look the part on the outside. God wants us to produce the kind of fruit that blesses others. That feeds the weary. That shows love, peace, patience, and kindness—the good stuff. 🍓

That’s what hit me today. I want to be a fig tree that feeds Jesus, not one He has to walk away from hungry.
