FAMILY AUDITIONS
Casting for a family of 5 to star in an upcoming non-union, commercial shoot. The three kids should range from 5 to 15 years old, plus a mom and a dad. The youngest child should be 5- 7 years old and have a little personality. Family members should be attractive, outgoing, and able to follow basic directions. ALL races will be considered – same race or mixed-race families.
There is NO DIALOG. Storyline for casting improv: family arrives home at the end of day, kids do homework, Dad makes dinner, wife is grateful, the little one sets the table, and they all sit down together to eat.
Shoot is in Ames or Des Moines Iowa, travel 12/8, shoot 12/9 & 12/10, return home 12/11. Each family member received $2,400 which covers travel time, shoot, and 1 mo. usage in January 2026. Mileage, hotel, meals, etc. will be covered by production.
Please submit recent photos of family groups available for the shoot dates in Iowa. Include notes on their availability for casting for each of the dates below. Be sure to supply windows of time avail for each date, not just specific times. Example: 11/24 any, 12/1 not avail, 12/2 1:00 – 2:30.
Monday 11/24, 2:30 – 6:30
Monday 12/1, 2:30 – 6:30
Tuesday 12/2. 1:00 – 5:00
Our first priority is to fill the schedule with families for the session this Monday, so please send family pics ASAP.
Important Note: Families of 5 will be prioritized for casting. However, families with 2 children and 2 parents will also be considered, if the youngest is 5 – 7 and the oldest is 10 – 15. Send photos and information on availability for these families of 4 as well.
