Was recently at a Sofar Sounds Kansas City event at The Arcade Event space in Kansas City and it reminded me of this install we floraloomed when the space first opened a few years back. I’ll never forget the all nighter I pulled wiring hundreds of calla lilies for it too. 😅

What I’m packing for next week’s install! Come take a look ✂️

Felt good to get back into flowers after taking some time off. So many cool things are happening in the event design world right now, and I got to play around with a few of them for this end-of-summer garden party. Here’s what’s inspiring me lately.

Grateful to floraloom the The Victory Project gala this past Friday in partnership with Argyle Events and Sporting Kansas City. Always a joy working with you Danielle Fisher and your event team!

After the event, the flowers were donated to , an organization that gives event flowers a second life within the community. The blooms are donated to places like nursing homes, where residents can recreate their own bouquets and enjoy a hands-on sensory activity

Huge thanks to this Floraloom team who helped bunches while I’m still recovering 6 weeks postpartum:

Hey! Colleen here dropping you some summer blooms while I’m out of office until about mid August to go have baby #2 and watch a lot of soccer. Will be back to Floralooming for fall/winter events (with a baby strapped on).

Thank you again for all who have checked in and showered our family with so much love this past month. Quinn has made such a miraculous recovery since the snakebite and she’s back to running and dancing again (truly, it’s baffled both the doctors and my husband and I).

Grateful to finally enter into some summer slowness to reset after creating a human and keeping another human alive. Then, it’s back to creating some amazing events for you!

Thank you as always for supporting Floraloom. I feel so lucky to have a job where I can create beautiful experiences that allow me the flexibility to raise a family.

Happy Summer!
