Pidurangala Rock, Sigirya
We climbed Pidurangala rock and it was breathtaking! 😍✨

In fact we think it’s better than being on top of Sigiriya rock because we could actually see Sigiriya rock plus it’s less crowded.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Here are some recommendations:
👉🏻 Start your hike at 5am -it’s only 20 minutes or so to the top and being there to watch the sunrise is truly magical.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
👉🏻 Wear sneakers or hiking shoes! I forgot mine 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ so half the hike was in sandals and the rocky part was barefoot as you can see... oops.

👉🏻 stray away from the crowds! We cannot stress this point enough. This photo was taken when we went away from the crowd onto the other side of the rock, there were monkeys! And we were The Only ones who got close up shots with these wild monkeys as well as the view!! 🐵🐵🐵
