Planet Comicon Kansas City (PCKC) is the region's largest and longest-running pop culture and comic book convention. Held annually at the Kansas City Convention Center (also referred to as Bartle Hall), PCKC is an awe-inspiring pop culture extravaganza spanning nearly eight football fields and featuring more than 90 celebrity, cosplayer and comic creator guests. PCKC also features a wide range of

pop culture merchandise, crafts, art and collectibles from more than 650 vendors, hundreds of hours of programming, an exciting cosplay showcase and a family-friendly interactive activity area called the Planet Entertainment Zone. The first Planet Comicon Kansas City was held in 1999 in Overland Park, Kansas, and has grown into an epic extravaganza annually attended by 60,000+ fans from across the country. CKC features the best in comic books, as well as fantasy, sci fi and superhero television and film.

A flawless butler. A deadly demon. J Michael Tatum is coming to Planet Anime KC! He joins us Saturday and Sunday.

J. Michael Tatum is an acclaimed voice actor and writer best known for his work in anime dubbing. After beginning his career with Funimation as Rikichi in Samurai 7, Tatum quickly became one of the most recognizable voices in anime.

His extensive list of fan-favorite roles includes Kyoya Ootori in Ouran High School Host Club, Sebastian Michaelis in Black Butler, Tomoe in Kamisama Kiss, France in Hetalia: Axis Powers, Erwin Smith in Attack on Titan, Okabe Rintaro in Steins;Gate, Eneru in One Piece, Tenya Iida in My Hero Academia, and Rei Ryugazaki in Free! In addition to voice acting, Tatum co-hosted the anime podcast That Anime Show from 2010 to 2014 alongside fellow voice actor Terri Doty and ADR engineer Stephen Hoff.

🌙✨In the name of Venus, welcome Cherami Leigh to Planet Anime KC! She joins us Saturday.

Cherami Leigh is an actor, writer and director and has been working in the industry for over 25 years. She has appeared in films such as Temple Grandin, The Hottest State and Fast Food Nation, as well as television shows including Friday Night Lights, Long mire, Bones and Shameless, and 9-1-1. In anime she has played over 150 characters including Lucy in Fairy Tail, Asuna in Sword Art Online,Sailor Venus in Sailor Moon, Sarada in Boruto, Kotaro in Kotaro Lives lone,Chloe and Grookey in Pokémon: Journeys, Trixx in Miraculous Ladybug and Red Blood Cell in Cells at Work.

Some of her video game credits include Female V in Cyberpunk 2077, Gaige in Borderlands 2, Makoto in Persona 5, A2 in NieR Automata, Minerva in The Walking Dead: Final Season, Irelia in League of Legends, The Imagined in Fortnite and most recently as Queen Sonia in Zelda-Tears of the Kingdom and Manon in Street Fighter 6. She also voices multiple characters in the Fire Emblem universe: Caeda, Mae, Rhea, and more.

🏴‍☠️Colleen Clinkenbeard, the voice of Monkey D. Luffy, is setting sail for Planet Anime KC! She joins us Saturday and Sunday.

Colleen Clinkenbeard is a voice actor and director with over 300 roles in anime and video games. Currently she is most excited to be continuing her role as Monkey D. Luffy in the English dub of One Piece!
