"Float" "Float" is an interactive public art project by Jarrett Mellenbruch.

Simply an arrangement of hammocks on a public green, "Float" is activated by the participation and engagement of the public. This page is a continuation of the community—it's your space to post photos and other media, spread the word, and comment on your experience. The first iteration of "Float" was part of the Kansas City Municipal Art Council's 2012 Avenue of the Arts and located on the lawn of

the Convention Center's Grand Ballroom, across from the Kauffman Performing Arts Center from May-September 2012. "Float 2" is coming to the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art in Summer 2014 — watch this page for updates!
