Clown work is all about subverting systems of power. Come witness Clown Boss Chad Damiani and his cast of Kansas City comedians.

Great stand-ups are masters of control. But what happens when you take all that status and preparation away? Clown Boss Chad Damiani takes nine Kansas City Comedians (many with zero clown experience) and ruthlessly teases, cajoles and directs them to take huge risks, fail big and follow their dumbest impulses.

This two-day intensive explores risk, chaos, subversion, paradox, instability, misdirection and the possibilities that exist on the other side of embarrassment and failure. Good for artists of all kinds, including improvisers, stand-up comics and anyone interested in connecting to an audience
