It's that time of year again. I'm in the works of figuring out logistics for Photographs for Hope. Save the date....September 5, 2026. I already have a family to sponsor, thank you to everyone for suggestions. I am confident I have picked a truly deserving family.

I urge everyone to come show support, get your family photographs at a donated price, and most importantly to have fun!

Same guidelines of previous years, $40 minimum donation and this gets you the following:

A family photo
A photo of each child
A photo of the all the children together
A photo of mom and dad
A photo of mom and the children
A photo of dad and children

If you have no children....that's OK! Come in for a few shots of you, with your significant other, or your friends!

The venue will remain the same, the Nature Sanctuary in Liberty, MO.

We can't wait to see you in September!

Earlier this month I made a post on my personal page that caught a lot of scrutiny. A post that I will not apologize for. It caused a deep rift between a few people, on this page and that were previous friends, who felt it necessary to share this photography page to a MAGA extremist group page, calling me everything under the sun that they have been since day one, and making extreme threats to only myself, but to clients. At a whim I cancelled my yearly event due to receiving those threats, mostly to keep everyone safe. It is not worth seeing any harm come to others. With how things are in the world right now, it seems vindictiveness runs thick in some extreme people.
To be clear. This did not directly hurt me. It did hurt the beneficiary of my event, who's a cancer patient. It did hurt those that were going to come, and it definitely hurt themselves as we now see the people they have become.
This is just your reminder that I don't back down. I'm not going anywhere any time soon. It's perfectly acceptable to not hire someone because you don't believe the same things, whether it be spiritual, political, or moral. What's unacceptable is the behavior that's been taking place because you think it's going to hurt the intended victim, when it doesn't.
Catherine's Photography has never and will never support racism or fascism. If those are things you celebrate, kindly remove yourself today. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
