We’re hosting an art supplies drive this August to support KCK art teachers during back-to-school season! 🎨 We asked teachers for a list of the most-needed supplies, and this is what they told us:

Supplies needed:
Baby wipes
Paper plates & bowls
Ziplock bags (gallon-sized or larger)
Model Magic (Crayola’s 2lb resealable buckets, any colors)
Sharpies / permanent markers
Medical trauma shears for cutting cardboard
Paintbrushes, small and large
Scissors for all ages
Handheld pencil sharpeners

This list includes items that art teachers often pay for out of their own pocket. They can make the difference between a really awesome, engaging art class experience vs the bare minimum, especially when classroom budgets are tight. Our teachers are talented, dedicated individuals who care about providing creative, high-quality learning environments for our students. If you’re able, join us in collecting supplies to help them achieve this mission! Supplies will be distributed to art teachers across our district, according to need.

Drop Off Times in August:
Sundays 6-8pm
Wednesdays 6-8pm
Thursdays 10am-12pm and 6-8pm
Saturdays 12-5pm

Drop-off Location: EPIC Arts Clay Studio
609 N 6th Street, Kansas City KS 66101
