Check it out! KC Studio's monthly podcast, Artful Connections Along the Streetcar, was voted Best Local Podcast in Kansas City Magazine's Best of Kansas City.

Kicking off Pride Month with one helluva one-two punch. 🌈

The results are in, and somehow I walked away with BOTH Best Local Author and Best Local Podcast for "Artful Connections Along the Streetcar" in Kansas City Magazine.

A couple things:

👑Thank you for the absolutely relentless voting, kids. Seriously. We did it.

👑I've never won either category before, so this feels like a double plot twist.

Needless to say, I’m feeling pretty grateful, a little stunned, and mildly convinced Christmas came six months early.

Appreciate y’all. ❤️

From review by TeenTix KC Press Corps member Sarah Adams:

"'1601! A Comedically Tragic Hamlet Origin Story' is a new play written and directed by Savannah Dove. Like shows such as Noises Off and The Play that Goes Wrong, this farce features a chaotic opening night of the first performance of Hamlet."

TeenTix KC is a KC Studio initiative building a brighter future for our region by empowering young people to take an active role in shaping their arts community as audience members, critics, influencers, advocates, patrons and leaders. For more info, visit kc.teentix.org

Music and Dance Review | It’s always a treat to see a musical celebrity perform in Kansas City, but when the program features three luminaries, you sit up and take notice. That was the case at The Folly Theater in Kansas City on Thursday night as the Harriman-Jewell Series presented a stellar evening of chamber music with three musical titans: violinist Joshua Bell, cellist Steven Isserlis and pianist Evgeny Kissin.
