Boot Hill Museum has been home to the Kansas Cowboy Hall of Fame since 2002, this year is its 21st anniversary. Every year five or more legendary cowboys or cowgirls have been inducted into the hall of fame. This year the committee has chosen to select five men into the Hall of Fame.
The Kansas Cowboy Hall of Fame Committee is pleased to name the following individuals for induction in 2023:
Phill Epp, Newton, Kansas, Cowboy Artist
Rodney Cook, formerly of Caldwell, Kansas, Cowboy Historian
Charles R. McKinney, formerly of Englewood, Kansas, Rancher/Cattleman
George Steinberger, formerly of Richmond, Kansas, Rodeo Cowboy
Orban Leon Stephens, Fall River, Kansas, Working Cowboy
The induction ceremony will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. at the Mariah Gallery, Boot Hill Museum, Dodge City. It is open to the public and will be posted on Boot Hill Museum’s website and page. Tickets are $25 for adults, $15 for children 5 to 12, and reservations can be made by calling Boot Hill Museum or by visiting www.boothill.org
