Neuro Diverse City Inclusive | Safe | Fun | Hangout | Neurdivergent | Developmental Disability | Teen & Adult

NeuroDiverseCity is a new, safe recreational social space in Zona Rosa that aims to offer fun and inclusion without the stress of trying to fit in. It is for all older teens and adults, but especially for those who are neurodivergent or developmentally disabled. NDC exists to be a gathering place where inherent dignity is recognized and prioritized. NDC hopes to continue building a community in wh

ich each person is celebrated for being exactly who they are. There are games, TVs, video games, art supplies, books, and comics; guests can also come in just to chill.

Parents and caregivers spend a lot of time learning as they go. So—what do you wish someone had told you?

Join the PCBS Parent & Caregiver Network for an informal back-to-school-style conversation about navigating services, schools, IEPs, funding and everyday caregiving.

What Do You Wish Someone Had Told You?

Tuesday, September 29
Pizza at 5:45 p.m.
Conversation from 6:00–7:15 p.m.

Platte County Board of Services
7900 NW 106th Street, Kansas City

Ask questions, share what you’ve learned or simply listen. Come late or leave early—you’re welcome here.

Mini Mobile NDC activities will be available for teens and adults who can participate without one-to-one supervision. Caregivers must remain onsite.
