Couples dance is taught with a count, yet accomplished with an attachment of the music being danced to, causing a natural rhythmic flow between the 2 people.

Not a routine, rather an ex*****on of technique, initiated by the lead, which the follower has to properly follow, that also encourages personal style within the technique as well as a balance of freestyle.

Before dancers hit the wood, their bodies should already be in tune with the song.

Feel The Music....Know the technique from a historical standpoint.....add your own flare, while staying in control and not all over the place, disrupting others.......enjoy the moment.
