Third Friday Art Walk

The Third Friday Art Walk celebrates local art, food, and music in KCK every Third Friday from May-Oct. Join us for a creative, family-friendly experience!

This page is your go-to spot for event details, artist highlights, and community fun! Find us on 6th Street for this month’s Third Friday Art Walk! Every month is different and features an exciting assortment of artists, performers, food trucks, and free activities. Planning an event for next month’s art walk? Interested in setting up as an artist or vendor? Contact [email protected] to

get placed on the map and included in promotions! A map of collaborating locations is posted monthly before the event, and each stop will host a variety of artists, vendors, and community partners. Free parking will also be marked.

we’re excited to announce is coming to Third Friday Art Walk this season, an interactive art installation with the opportunity to collaborate with the artist in decorating this piece!

about the piece:
“This is an untitled piece made for a music and art festival in 2012 and has been set up at a few events since. It consists of three wooden crosses covered in white sheets to resemble kites, joined at the arms to form an offset tripod structure. The piece is about 15’ wide and 20’ long and stands up to ~14’. It is large enough for several people to walk under and through at the same time. I’ve considered calling it Hope Still Flies. This is an interactive piece meant for people to engage with and respond to.”
