Front and Center is an exhibition of the greatest importance and prominence, celebrating a
collective exchange between PLUG in Kansas City and The Front in New Orleans. Both
organizations are a beacon of liberation for artists, providing an untamed realm where creativity
thrives. By offering financial freedom and flexibility, we empower artists to transform their
dreams into reality. Amidst vanishing artist-run spaces, we salute our sanctuaries of
self-expression, rejecting the confines of commercial interests. In an era of dwindling support,
we offer a lifeline, fostering artistic growth and stability while championing the transformative
power of art and community, both local and national.
