for it can cause heartache
and oh so much pain
A feeling we often ignore
instead of playing the game
It can cause us to run
and to be afraid,
to be heartbroken and dismayed
But just the same
it can do the opposite
and calm the pain
Cause us to be confident,
passionate and free
To be affectionate,
energetic, joyous and brave
To fight for what we want
and stand for what we believe
A word so powerful
it is indeed

Enjoyed getting out again yesterday and was lucky enough to get some decent shots of some sparrows, robins, woodpeckers, and squirrel. Love the turquoise color sparrows.
