Who else has a MIH hangover? 🙋🏽♀️
I actually had a very successful event and I’m so thankful to have participated for 4 years now and to everyone who supported me. It was awesome!
But it was also the most stressful one I’ve ever done. The traffic alone took a few years off my life I’m sure. 😬 I witnessed an elderly resident on Kahakai St going absolutely ballistic on one of the traffic attendants because I’m assuming he either was not able to enter or exit his residence during Sunday nights load out gridlock. He was super upset (and probably justified).
I have a few questions-
Did any vendors use the parking shuttles? I haven’t spoken to anyone who says they used it so I was wondering if anyone did. Personally that set up would have added an extra hour to my morning drop offs since you weren’t allowed to bring anything on the shuttles. I would have had to drop off my stuff. Then park. Then shuttle. How was it if you used it?
I booked two nights at a hotel just to avoid that and also the hours were way too long to drive back and forth to Kailua.
What were your thoughts on the extended hours?
