Over the years, our little gathering has grown from a dream into a bustling realm of faeries, dragons, goblins, pirates, merfolk, adventurers, artists, musicians, storytellers, and curious wanderers. Together, we've built a place where imagination is welcome, creativity is celebrated, and everyone is invited to step into a story for a while.

Whether you've wandered the marketplace in search of treasures, cheered on a costume contestant, completed a quest, traded trinkets, met a member of the Royal Court, or simply spent an afternoon soaking in the wonder, thank you for being part of the tale.

This nomination belongs to every volunteer, vendor, performer, sponsor, community partner, and guest who has helped weave another thread into the festival's story.

MT F2F and DPHHS are hosting a Partnering Our Programs (PoP) stakeholder call to talk about the Supports Intensity Scale-Adult Version® (SIS-A®, 2nd Ed.) — an assessment that helps determine what level of support a person needs in everyday life.

We'll cover:
✅ What the SIS-A® is and how it works
✅ How Montana plans to pilot the assessment
✅ What this means for adults receiving services and their families
✅ Time for YOUR questions, ideas, and concerns

This call is for adults receiving developmental disability services, family members and caregivers, self-advocates, providers, and anyone who wants to understand how Montana plans and delivers services.

As our interview draws to a close, we look back at the glorious chaos of festivals past! From goblin snot to valiant chariot riders, the Sunz of Odin share the moments that truly capture the wild, wonderful spirit of our realm. Remember, travelers: stay legendary and Hail-Hydrate!

Faerie Scribe: What is one of your favorite memories from a past festival that really shows the spirit of the Sunz of Odin?

Sunz of Odin: "Oh wow, last year's festival was an absolute blast! It's so hard to pinpoint one particular saga: perhaps the saga of The Great Chariot Rider who valiantly fought our Demon Sabrac, or the tale of how our fighters acquired Ogre snot for a Green Goblin named Fishbone Spineshiver... The chaos never ended, so much so that we had to remind patrons to Hail-Hydrate! It was glorious!!"

Embarking on Your Own Quest ⚔️

Has the fire of battle ignited a spark in your own soul? If you've found yourself reaching for a practice sword after watching the fray, the Sunz of Odin have some wise words on how you can begin your very own quest in the world of roleplay and combat!

Faerie Scribe: If someone at the festival is inspired by your group and wants to learn more about LARPing, what is the best way for them to get involved?

Sunz of Odin: "Great question! The Sunz of Odin are not affiliated with any LARP groups around the globe. We do highly encourage those who wish to learn more to look into their area for any of the groups that are local to them. There are many great options for different kinds of role play, whether as a fighter or non-combatant. Though many have age restrictions barring young people, we are looking into starting a small summer camp in 2027 if given enough interest."
