I’m looking forward to the upcoming fall/winter season of shows for Lauren Warwick & The Danger! Stay tuned for our next calendar post!
Look out for some new updates from me in the coming weeks! I’m excited to diversify this music life a little bit, collaborating with a few local musicians/bands in a few different ways! Whether it’s lending some backing vocals, as a guest for a fun night of tunes, a collab, or something new I have up my sleeve, I’ll be around the valley this winter in some expected and unexpected places! It’s been a few weeks of craziness, 2am and the only thing you can hear in this house is me in a quiet corner scratching on a pad of paper, with a pencil that could use a sharpen… I feel like my best practice is at night, when the world is quiet and it’s just me and the music. Memories,.. Laying down some backing vocals on a friend’s album, after she passed away, to complete her work with her family, was one of the most beautiful, raw and emotional experiences I’ve had living this music life. Her voice in my headphones wreaked havoc on my heart, I closed my eyes and found my spot in our harmonies and I swear I could have reached out and touched her. Hard, beautiful day, feeling equal parts gratitude and grief,.. 🙏
