✨ What a night. ✨
Mic Check & Connect was everything we hoped it would be and more!
We had a FULL performance lineup, an incredible audience, and a room full of artists, storytellers, musicians, poets, and community members making meaningful connections. Nights like these remind us why we do this work—creating spaces where creativity, courage, and community can thrive together.
A special thank you to our phenomenal featured artist, Casey Grooten, Executive Director of the Kalamazoo Poetry Festival, for sharing their artistry, insight, and presence with us. We are grateful for the work Casey continues to do to uplift poetry and creative expression throughout our community.
📸 Swipe through a few moments from the evening and celebrate the artists who bravely shared their voices with us.
And we’re not slowing down…
