The Scottish musical universe lost one of the great ones yesterday; singer-songwriter Archie Fisher passed at the age of 86 yesterday. If you are hitting YouTube, search for Archie Fisher and Garnet Rogers at the Ark in Ann Arbor.

The singer, songwriter and guitarist had presented BBC Radio Scotland's Travelling Folk from 1983 to 2010.

We have sad news to share: two long-time band members have passed recently. On October 9th, piper Phillip Parker passed peacefully at the age of 95 in Grand Rapids. On October 31st, members of the band played at the Plainwell Pines Nursing Centre for drummer Jack Boykin and friends. Jack passed peacefully on Sunday morning. In the photo below, Phil is on the top left, Jack is also on the left of the front row. How many current band members do you recognize?
