Glass Art Kalamazoo is a community-based nonprofit organization founded in 2002 by a local group of glass artists. Its mission is to enrich the community by providing exceptional experiences in glass art. Classes are offered in glassblowing, lamp works, kiln fusing and sand blasting. While much of that work is done in its studios at the Park Trade Center on West Kalamazoo Avenue, Glass Art Kalamaz

CUPS 101 with YASHU REDDY, July 27-31 at Glass Art Kalamazoo. This 5-day course will focus on the fundamentals of Venetian-style goblet making with the primary goal of helping students make work more efficiently by using the heat, gravity and innate physicality of glass to execute a wide variety of forms and designs. We will cover these techniques in a way that is simple and straightforward, so that it may be practiced and repeated easily. Class fee includes all materials, tools, and studio time.

GAK heads to GAS! Our staff is hitting the road this week to attend the Glass Art Society 2026 Conference in Corning NY. We're excited to see old friends, network with glass artists and organizations from around the world, and learn new ways to make our Kalamazoo studio the best it can be.

This means we will not be participating in Art Hop or Art on the Mall this Friday. Our gallery will have limited open hours while we're gone. See the schedule below and please plan artwork pickups accordingly:

Tue 6/02: 11am-6pm
Wed 6/03: CLOSED
Thu 6/04: 4-6pm
Fri 6/05: 1-6pm
Sat 6/06: 12-4pm
