The radio program “The Adventures of Johnny Forest & Sue McGee: The Dragonfly" invites us to return to 1950s America, when a highly anticipated biplane fly-in event at the county fair attracts a criminal element that puts The Dragonfly - a rare Sopwith Pup - in peril. But, intrepid detectives Johnny Forest, a well-liked and curious teen, and Sue McGee, a natural leader and problem solver are on the case! Along with Edward, Johnny's best friend, the teen trio discovers that somethings afoot and are determined to do something about it.

Written by Deborah Hanley and directed by Jen Hebben, the cast features:

"The Tortoise & The Hare," Aesop's fable about how a slow and steady tortoise outruns an arrogant rabbit, will be presented by All Ears Theatre Saturday April 18 at 6 pm at KNAC. This amusing contemporary version of the story was adapted by playwright David Isaacson and is directed by Jessica Bocade.

The 30-minute show features the voice talents of Mickey Sykes, Richard Philpot, Colleen Centers, Sarah E. MacLean, Tim Hill, Dave Walker, Kathryn McCrea, and Ish Klein.

There is no charge for admission.

All Ears Theatre presents "Chase Marlow and The Doctor Has a Beau" Saturday March 14 from 6 to 6:30 pm.

This live performance is free to the public and will be presented at KNAC (Kalamazoo Nonprofit Advocacy Coalition) 315 W. Michigan Ave. Kalamazoo, Michigan.

Sandal Creek's Doctor Bonnie is usually too busy to relax, and when she starts spending time with a new beau everyone wonders just who the man is. Chase Marlow, U.S. Marshal, is especially curious since he is very protective of the town's only doctor. Is there more to this man than what appears?

Written and directed by Donald Ramlow, co-founder of All Ears Theatre, "Chase Marlow in The Doctor Has a Beau" will feature the vocal talents of Ron Centers, Michael Ray Helms, Karen Blaisure, Glynis Fenn, Mickey Sykes, & Rick Fontaine.

​Intended for mature audiences, All Ears After Dark will present the Gordon Bolar comedy "Love Games" in an exciting collaboration between All Ears Theatre and Crawlspace Eviction.

"Love Games", written by Gordon Bolar and directed by Martie Groat, features the vocal talents of:

Gary Browne and Jake Burrell will perform the sound effects at their live foley table; original music by Hal Hobson-Morse will be performed by Hal and Linda Havens.

All Ears After Dark shares the stage with Improvised Golden Age of Radio (IGAR), which creates an immersive improvised audio soundscape for their live audience. Utilizing dozens of toys on their live foley table, the sound effects and performances paint a hilarious picture of a classic drama-gone-wrong.

All Ears Theatre is pleased to announce our next show, Friday March 6, 2026, at 7:30 pm, in a collaboration with Crawlspace Comedy Theatre:

"Love Games," a 30-minute comedy in three acts written by local playwright Gordon Bolar, will be featured in a new All Ears event, ALL EARS AFTER DARK, intended for mature audiences.

Two romantic couples, and a pair of friends, use games to express love and overcome the obstacles that prevent growth in their respective relationships.

Also featured March 6: A completely new form of improv inspired by the classic Old-Time Radio shows of the 1930s, 40s, and 50s. The cast of Improvised Golden Age of Radio (IGAR) takes the themes, language, and technology of the era to create an immersive improvised audio soundscape for their live audience. "Chase Marlow in “The Doctor Has a Beau,” written & directed by Donald Ramlow. “The Tortoise and the Hare", adapted by David Isaacson and directed by Jessica Bocade. This play channels Monty Python with Aesop's fable about how a slow and steady tortoise outruns an arrogant rabbit. "This contemporary version will upset only snobs, none of whom attend All Ears Theatre plays anyway," notes playwright David Isaacson.

​"The Adventures of Johnny Forest & Sue McGee: The Dragonfly," written by Deborah Hanley, and directed by Jen Hebben. ​No worries about prep; all voice actors will be cold reading from supplied scripts. Parts for men and women. All auditions are held at the Kalamazoo Nonprofit Advocacy Coalition (KNAC), 315 W. Michigan Avenue, Kalamazoo, MI 49007 at 7pm.
