In the moments that led my life from Hawaii to LA I felt as if I was between two worlds. I experienced the contrast between opposites in a variety of forms. The ying and yang of emotions, dreams, desires, choices, and even people. There were two worlds swirling around inside of me, and also externally. Some were light and liberating, some were dark and terrifying. The beautiful truth is one cannot be without the other; they both beautifully coexist. When we accept all of it as being exactly as it is meant to be, the light with the dark, a balance happens. A rebirth. This piece represents the balance between two opposites; masculinity and femininity. Without the two, creation does not exist. Together we are One in perfect balance.

My next Kid's Mixed Media Class is coming up on November 26th from 3-5pm. We will be making Giraffe's! All materials included for two hours of creative fun for $45. Tonight's class was so much fun! Thank you everyone for showing up for your creativity and spending time with your inner child. We have so much responsibility as adults, that this time we set aside for ourselves to allow our imaginations to play is essential. Thank you for allowing me to share my passion!
