The Curious Gecko

The Curious Gecko The Curious Gecko, a small division of KBJ Art Hawaii, was created by Kathleen and Bill Jaeger as to highlight the latest developments in their art.

www.thecuriousgecko.com Kathleen works primarily in mosaic or acrylic painting, whichever works best for the look she is after. Bill's efforts are focused in stained glass most generally using the copper foil method.

I just noticed how we have sadly been neglecting this page as we are preparing for our upcoming Studio Tour and putting most of our postings there. Each week Bill can be found on Wednesdays at the Farmers and Artisans Market on the grounds of the Sheraton, Keauhou, 9-2.

Kathleen can be found with her art every week most Wednesdays on the lanai of the Trading Company at Hualali Four Seasons Resort. Occasionally she will be at the Mauna Kea Resort on Sundays.

Drop by and visit them to see new and exciting pieces, some just meeting the public for the first time.

I (Kathleen) have been working on some new pieces and am very pleased with the way they are turning out. Almost ready for some photos. The problem is, I may have trouble sending a couple of them out into the world, I am liking them so much. But that is their purpose. I will, however, let them sit around the house a few days before introducing them to the public.

After the Tour, we spent time getting the studio back into a working space - almost there, but we each have a little space opened up in which to work - several commissions and new inspirations are underway.
