Join the Justice Park District for a fun-filled morning as we fill the autumn sky with color! Whether you're an experienced flyer or trying it out for the first time, this event is perfect for all ages.

What to Expect:
🪁 Bring Your Own or Buy One There: Feel free to bring your favorite kite, or purchase one on-site from Chicago Kites! (Cash & Card accepted)
👨‍🏫 Learn from the Pros: Get expert tips on how to fly like a pro—or just relax and enjoy the colorful view!
🍿 Snacks & Refreshments: Light concessions will be open during the event (Cash & Card accepted).

Whether you need space for an intimate gathering or a larger event (up to 75 guests total), we have options to fit your needs:

Large Room (Up to 45 guests) – $350
Small Room (Up to 30 guests) – $300
Both Rooms – $550
Kitchen – $125 (Not available June–August)
Outdoor Pavilion – $150 (Spring–Summer season only)

Key Rental Rules:
All rentals are based on a 4-hour slot (extra time available upon request).
Must book at least 3 weeks in advance and be 21+ to reserve.
All rentals require a $150 security deposit.
No alcohol/smoking permitted.

Preferred caterer required (or insurance provided for outside caterers), plus renter's insurance via EventHelper.com.

Join Suburban Technical Amateur Radio Systems (S.T.A.R.S. - W9SRC) as they celebrate a half-century of radio in Chicago's southwest suburbs! Whether you're an experienced operator or completely new to ham radio, everyone is welcome—no license required!

⏰ Time: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM (VE License Testing starts at 10:00 AM)
📍 Location: The Caboose @ Santa Fe Prairie State Nature Preserve

📻 POTA Live Stations: Experience portable HF stations and Parks on the Air activity.

📝 VE License Testing: Take an amateur radio exam or upgrade (starts at 10:00 AM).
📜 50 Years of STARS: Check out club photos, memorabilia, and stories from 5 decades on the air.
