A little reminder that you absolutely do not need a perfect reference photo to book with me. ✨
Honestly, some of my favorite tattoos start with the smallest idea… or even no idea at all besides a feeling, memory, or person you want represented. I love helping clients figure out concepts that feel personal to them.
Sometimes that means pulling inspiration from:
• favorite flowers
• birth flowers or birth stones
• a favorite drink, fruit, animal, hobby, etc.
• little objects that remind you of someone
• meaningful memories or vibes
We can build something together from there. 🖤
And if you do want to look for inspiration photos, the best way to find tattoos similar to my style is usually searching things like:
“neo-traditional _____ tattoo”
or
“traditional _____ tattoo”
(Example: “neo-traditional strawberry tattoo” 🍓)
I’ll always take reference ideas into consideration, but I usually prefer using them as inspiration rather than directly copying another tattoo exactly. Placement and body flow matter a lot too — something that looks amazing in a photo might not necessarily fit or flow the best for the area you want it on, and part of my job is helping design something that works well with your body too. ✨
