So excited about this one! I finished my previous cup off as a New Orleans theme, and love it! The topper is made from beads we got during Mardi Gras and is removable with a smaller simpler one for times where I don’t want the big one. I hope you enjoy it!

I haven’t posted for a while but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been playing! I am trying a new technique and turned out these two beauties today!

The final step is epoxy! The cup gets a coat and the 4 hours later, while the first coat is still wet, it gets another coat. Hopefully when both dry it will be a nice smooth finish!

Here I am adding the waterslide to the cup. I wet the cup slightly and soak the image in water until it slips from its backing. I can then place the image and move it around some until it is where I want it. The final step is to smooth away excess water so the image sticks in place. A coat of clear matte spray paint is added to the cup to seal everything in before I add epoxy!
