The Junction City Arts Council was founded for the purpose of bringing together individuals and organizations interested in the promotion and development of all forms of art and culture in Junction City and Geary County.

✨ **Meet the Team Behind The Hoover** ✨

It takes a lot of people behind the scenes to keep this beautiful building running and to bring performances, events, rental spaces, classes, and activities to our community.

We wanted to take a moment to introduce the main team behind the **C.L. Hoover Opera House**. ❤️

Each of us has a different role, but we all share the same goal — to care for this historic building, create meaningful experiences, and help the C.L. Hoover Opera House continue to be a place our community can enjoy and be proud of.

Over the last year and a half, there have been a lot of changes, new ideas, and exciting things happening here. We hope you’ve noticed some of those positive changes along the way — and most of all, we hope you like what you see.

We truly enjoy working together, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to be part of a place that means so much to Junction City and the surrounding community.

🍋 THE CAST IS SET! 🍋 Complaint Department and Lemonade is officially cast and rehearsals are underway at the JCLT Annex!

This one's a laugh-out-loud one act, and this cast is already bringing the funny. 😂

Mark your calendars for October 1-3! This show will be performed at our Annex (across the street from the Opera House), and tickets are first come, first served for $10 at the door! 🎟️

🌈 SEPTEMBER AT THE PLAY PLACE!

September is almost here, and we have so much to look forward to! 💛 Save our calendar so you don’t miss Storytime, special events, member fun, classes, and more throughout the month.

AND...... we’re extending our hours! 🎉

Starting in September, we’ll be open later on Tuesdays & Thursdays, giving our school-aged friends a little more time to come play after school!
