I used to work in corporate insurance. The goal for that company was to attract clients who shopped around & used discretion.

When you search for a business to purchase from, what do YOU do first?

Say you’re looking for a bottle of organic lotion. If you’re in a store, you’re going to pick up the bottle of lotion with the label that catches your eye first, then read the ingredients.

For me, if the label doesn’t look like a clean company, I’m not even picking up the bottle. That’s marketing.  If a business aesthetic isn’t fitting the vision and needs of a client, they’re likely to walk before they even ask for a price.

This isn’t meant as judgment or to make you feel shame for what you’ve created. You should absolutely be proud of what you’re building.

You also shouldn’t feel bad if every single element isn’t where you want to spend your time (or isn’t where your time is best spent). You rock at being a business owner, it’s ok if you’re not a graphic designer or lead in marketing.

You’ve built it all from the ground up, now let’s help people pick up the bottle and build trust around what you offer.

🌻 I’ve had to remind myself lately and settle into the thought that any experience doesn’t have to just be one thing.

You can enjoy working and your business, but still be exhausted. You can love growing a garden, but be tired of cooking meals. You can feel like you don’t have enough time in the day, but also take a break to rest and appreciate what you have.

We can both exist in a business-minded space and a space of caring about others, the environment, and what is going on in the world.

The thing is, it’s so heavy and sometimes it helps to see what other folks are up to and that we don’t have to be perfect in order to keep showing up.

Don’t forget, the most important part of your business is you. If you aren’t eating, your business isn’t getting fed either.

🥰 Every project is truly an honor. It’s an honor to see you in your business, thriving, growing, and blooming the best of yourself into it.

I love hearing and seeing my clients and creating things for them that feel like they’re seen and heard.

Sometimes there is vulnerability wrapped in that, sometimes it’s that the brand questionnaire lands in the right way to spark a deep thought, and sometimes it’s in how you show up on social media. Usually it’s all of the above.

Thank you for trusting me with one of the biggest parts of you! 🫶

🗓️ The months are flying in 2026, but I’m grateful to have stopped to enjoy a few things along the way.

⚡️We got some epic thunderstorms here in the Eastern Sierra, some unfortunately creating wildfires. We got some good rain though, so the garden is flourishing.

🌸 The wildflowers were popping off at 8,000+ feet. Sunsets were on point. 🎇 4th of July was different this year in some great ways! Helped announce the parade in Mammoth with some awesome djs KMMT-FM & KRHV-FM.

Got away for an overnight and enjoyed some of our favorite restaurants in Reno.

Got some work done for clients and have gotten started on some exciting new client work too!

I hope everyone had a fun and safe July! Now onto August 🙃
