"The Zebra Derby" is being shown at the Spiva Center for the Arts gallery Membership Show. Reception for this show is November 1, 2025 starting at 5:30. It's in conjunction with JRACs show. Stop by and see both pieces plus the works of some amazing artists!

This is my piece for JRACs Small Works Show which is at the Spiva Center for the Arts gallery. Reception is November 1, 2025 from 5:30 - 8:30. It's in conjunction with Spiva's annual Membership show. Hope to see you there!

The theme for this show is What Lies Beneath. So being a bit whimsical & a tad deep (parden the pun), I named it "Beaneath the Realm of Reality, lies Joy."

Our last class of the Mask unit with the 6-10 year olds today at ArtCentral. We had fun doing Day of the Dead. They learned how to make paper flowers, stack them & curl the petals. Then we added the bling that every Day of the Dead mask must have. Yes, their noses are 3d. How cute is that?

Subbed for the 11-17 year olds today for their Homeschool art class at ArtCentral. What a fun treat. I'm sort of sad that I didn't get pictures- their project was so cool... a Spooky, not scary cut canvas mixed media art piece.

Stacy Heydt will be set up at Urban Art Gallery at 511 S. Main, Joplin, MO 64801.

Stacy is a mixed media and fiber artist. Her main products are wet felting using alpaca fiber and the resist method of felting into 3D vessels, pods, bowls, and embellishing with leather, beads and other found items.
