The series is hosted by the Jonesborough McKinney Center and aims to highlight the region's stories and how they contributed to America's 250-year history. You can catch Tales of Our 250 on Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Jackson Theatre.

TONIGHT! 🎬🍿

The original Highlands Horrorfest Roadshow returns this Fall to the The Jackson Theatre in Jonesborough, TN for a special premiere presentation of Stranger Tales from Appalachia, a backwoods horror anthology, featuring films from Horrorfest alums Tim Altonen and Ryan A Renfro, music by Dylan Rutherford, and visual effects by Jake VanHuss. The screening will take place on October 15th at 7pm at the Jackson Theatre and tickets are Pay What You Can.

The October 15 event is sponsored by the Lost State A/V Club, which will have a table featuring VHS horror and other memorabilia for sale. Highlands Horrorfest will also have a table featuring locally produced films for sale to help raise money for its New Blood Film Fund, which will help fund future filmmakers in the region. The evening will be hosted by local horror aficionado Big Daddy Voodoo.
