Keep your furry friends safe during Jonesborough Days! 🐾

Summer's high temperatures and street surfaces can become extremely hazardous for your dog.

High Temperatures of 90 and 92 degrees are expected on Friday (7/3) and Saturday (7/4) during the festival, meaning street surfaces will be around 135 degrees! A dog's paws can begin to burn at 125 degrees!

We love our furry friends, so Festival-goers are strongly encouraged to leave their dogs at home, where they can stay cool!🧊

🎇Reminder for Pet Owners: Jonesborough Days will end with a fireworks display on Saturday (7/4) at 10 p.m. Loud noises and flashing lights can be extremely stressful for pets. We encourage festival-goers to please leave their dogs at home during the fireworks show for their safety and comfort.🎇

Make sure to stop by Central Christian Church, Jonesborough, Tn during Jonesborough Days this weekend!

They’ll be selling food on Friday from 10 am to 3 pm & Saturday 11 am to 2 pm and 4 pm to 9 pm!🌭🍕

Plus, visit Cryptid Creatures reptile & Exotic rescue and visit their reptile ambassadors!🐍 Their mission is to rescue & rehabilitate non-native reptiles and other exotics in the East Tennessee Area! They will be on the front lawn of Central Christian Church from 12 to 7 pm both days!🦎

Congratulations to all the 2026 Miss Jonesborough Days Pageant winners!👑

Participants in the pageant also collected 2,116 pounds of cat litter that was donated to the Washington County, TN Animal Shelter!😺

We are SO excited for Jonesborough Days this weekend as we celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary! 🇺🇸🎇🌟

🇺🇸 America’s 250th Parade on Friday, July 3, at 10 a.m.
🎆 Fireworks on Saturday, July 4, at 10 p.m.

There will also be live music, delicious food, local vendors, family activities, and so much more throughout the weekend!

🚨ROAD CLOSURE INFO🚨

There will be multiple road closures on Thursday, July 2nd, through Saturday, July 4th, for the festival.

🚧 Main Street will be closed from Fox St. to Second Ave. starting Thursday, July 2rd at 5:30 p.m. for Jonesborough Days set up. The Main Street closure will continue until Saturday after the fireworks celebration, approximately at 10:15 p.m.

🚧 Boone Street and a section of Main Street will be closed for the parade on July 3rd from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

🚧Traffic patterns will be altered before, during and after the fireworks on July 4th from 8:30 p.m. to 12 a.m. Immediately after the fireworks have ended (approximately at 10:15 p.m.) a hold on vehicle traffic will take place on Boone Street until the pedestrian traffic has cleared the area. Traffic patterns will be altered along East and West Jackson Boulevard with crossovers being unavailable and no U-Turns permitted. Traffic entering East and West Jackson Boulevard will be turned right at all intersections.
