This is what we arrived to see Saturday morning at the Pine Log Market. We began picking up, cleaning up and setting back up. Other vendors who were doing the same even started helping us. Blessings indeed. Although our canopy was destroyed we carried on. We were ready for opening hour. Throughout the morning there were small bursts of wind and lots of sunshine. Shortly after lunch a bit larger burst of wind blew through and took down one wall, blowing into the center of our booth with a domino effect into the center stand of porch leaners and then into the opposite wall and then on to the neighbors table. Thankfully no one was hurt. And, thankfully Zac, Kat and the kids, AnnMarie and Dylan were there. Everyone swooped in and started picking up stuff. Other vendors and bystanders all gathered and started helping. It really was amazing. But we just packed it all, loaded the truck, hugged everybody and came home. It truly was a good weekend though, it could have been much, much worse. God is good! We met some great people, had super vendor neighbors (Stephanie and her mother, Katey and Joe) and just an all around good time. We're not sure we want to do the outdoor markets again, its just too taxing on us both. A good experience, a learning experience and a God experience in the friendships made, the rallying of perfect strangers and our family.
