We’re excited to introduce our newest exhibition, more-than-human, now on view at Bradbury Art Museum!
more-than-human invites us to look beyond ourselves.
Bringing together art, science, Indigenous worldviews, and technology, the exhibition explores ways of seeing, sensing, and understanding the world that extend beyond human experience. Through immersive projections, sound, scent, data, and interactive media, the works reveal relationships that are often invisible to us, from the communication of forests and plants to microscopic ecosystems, atmospheric change, and the interconnected lives that surround us.
As you explore, we invite you to slow down and take in the exhibition at your own pace. Seating and exhibition catalogues are available throughout the gallery, and our tea station offers a warm cup to enjoy while spending time with the works.
And be on the lookout, several works throughout the exhibition are interactive and invite you to become part of the experience.
At its heart, more-than-human asks us to reconsider our place within these systems, not as separate from nature or at its center, but as participants in a much larger, interconnected world.
What might change when we slow down, pay attention, and begin to recognize the lives, perspectives, and relationships unfolding beyond our own?
