The award I am most proud of from this past weekend - the “Excellence in the Wings” award!

When I opened the studio 31 years ago at the very young age of 22 years old, it was with the intention of bringing a high technical level of training to the dancers in this area. I very quickly learned that while bringing that high level of training was important, many of the children who come through this studio do not continue dancing after graduation. I realized that the lessons they needed to learn at the studio go far beyond the dance floor. While I am in the business of creating wonderful dancers, my goal 31 years later is also about creating wonderful human beings. This award proves that I am doing my job just as much as that first place trophy! I am so proud of all of our dancers and I’m so blessed to have teachers by my side who share my philosophy and have helped to shape our studio culture!

Another incredible competition weekend with the best dance family at Ticket to Broadway! “Best Performance” award for ages 12 & under for Cinderella and “Best Performance” for ages 13 & up for Party Up! 1st place top score for our Jazz production “Cloudy with a chance of dance”, along with several top score placements for small groups, solos, duos and trios! Lots of laughs, tears and life lasting memories made ♥️🤍🖤

Our first competition of the season is in the books and I couldn’t be more proud of our team!

What makes these girls so special isn’t just their dancing talent -it's the way these dancers support each other every step of the way. From cheering loudly in the audience to celebrating each other’s accomplishments, they truly dance for the memories they are creating together.

One of my favorite parts of competition weekends is watching our dancers appreciate the talent around them. They love being inspired by dancers from other studios, cheering them on, and recognizing the hard work that every team brings to the stage. That kind of respect and sportsmanship is something we value deeply. Hearing one of my girls say "did you see that dance? It was so good" fills me with so much pride.

A special congratulations to our “Cinderella” production, which received the highest choreography score in the 12 & Under division— such a proud moment for our dancers!

Congratulations to all of our dancers on your awards and placements this weekend. Your hard work, dedication, and teamwork truly shined on stage.

So proud of the growth, the teamwork, and the joy these dancers bring to every performance. This is just the beginning of our season and I can’t wait to see where the journey takes us. ❤️🤍🖤
