Jaime Helbig artist Contemporary artist Jaime Helbig is a figurative oil painter working with contemporary subjects. Jaime’s work is defined as figurative oil paintings on canvas.

Jaime Helbig completed a Bachelor of Science in Art Education at Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2003, and since has taught art at all age levels. She began a Master of Fine Arts program at The Academy of Art University, to be completed in December 2013. Having been influenced by artist parents, her strength is in creativity and the ability to see the world through an artist’s eyes. Her inte

rest is in painting the clothed figure in an architectural setting. She enjoys the creativity of lighting the figure and the journey that the painting process takes her. Currently, Jaime teaches art as an adjunct professor at Penn Highlands Community College. Her plan for the future is to continue teaching, while creating fine art in her home studio in Pennsylvania. She looks forward eagerly to whatever opportunities that may arise.
