Fall 2026 Registration is Open for Inclined to Sing!

Does your child love to sing? Inclined to Sing, the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra’s youth chorus, welcomes young singers ages 5–15 to explore their passion for music in a supportive, welcoming, and joyful environment.

Under the direction of Emily Stumpo, singers will build their vocal and musical skills, rehearse together, make new friends, participate in community events, and perform alongside the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra.

Single tickets are officially on sale for Season 98: Symphonic Visions!

Beginning today, September 1, you can purchase individual tickets for every concert of the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra’s 2026–27 season.

From the drama of Halloween @ the Symphony and a moving Honoring Our Veterans concert, to Holiday Pops, Date Night @ the Symphony, our Family Concert, and the season finale, Symphony in Color, there is something for everyone to experience this season!

Single-ticket prices range from $10–$65, depending on performance and seating location. Tickets for our March Family Concert are just $15 for every seat, helping make a live symphony experience accessible for families throughout our region.

The Johnstown Symphony Orchestra is saddened to share the passing of Jeanne Bowen Burr, a Founding Member of the Johnstown Symphony Auxiliary.

Jeanne was part of a remarkable group of individuals who understood from the very beginning that a strong symphony needs more than musicians on the stage. It needs dedicated people behind the scenes who are willing to give their time, energy, and hearts to help it grow and thrive.

For generations, the JSO Auxiliaries have been an incredibly important part of our organization. Through their volunteerism, fundraising, hospitality, advocacy, and support, Auxiliary members have helped strengthen the JSO and make so much of our work possible. Jeanne helped establish that tradition of service, and her impact remains part of the Auxiliary and the Symphony today.

We are deeply grateful for Jeanne’s commitment to the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra and for the legacy she leaves behind. We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

We spent the day filming with JSO Music Director James Blachly and videographer Matt Otis, capturing new videos and sneak peeks for the season ahead.

From Halloween and Holiday Pops to sports, family favorites, and a season finale filled with color, there is so much coming to the JSO stage this year. We can’t wait to share more with you!

A huge thank you to Matt for his creativity and talent behind the camera, and to our wonderful partners at the Pasquerilla Performing Arts Center for welcoming us and giving us the perfect place to bring it all to life.

The Johnstown Symphony Orchestra is honored to participate in the Somerset County 25/250 Celebration, taking place Wednesday, August 5, through Sunday, August 9! 🇺🇸🎶

This five-day celebration will commemorate America’s 250th anniversary and the 25th anniversary of the events of September 11 and Flight 93. The week will bring together community organizations, first responders, musicians, volunteers, and residents for remembrance, patriotism, and community celebration.

Activities will include musical performances, remembrance ceremonies, family activities, historical exhibits, a firefighters’ parade, a drone show, fireworks, and more.

The JSO is honored to be participating, and we need your help spreading the word! Please share this post with your friends, family, and community. Unless otherwise noted, events are free and open to the public!
