I met Naomi this weekend when she was hanging out at the show and she’s such a little sweetheart.
She’s now available for adoption. Let’s find this little girl a forever home.

Some dogs are tiny but can command the entire world. Naomi is one of those dogs.
Around 5 years old and weighing 23 pounds (though she’s working toward a healthier 18), Naomi is a mixed breed—possibly hints of Chihuahua, Pug, Bully, doxy…. But possibly none… we aren’t sure.
She is house and crate trained and knows “sit.” She walks nicely on leash… as long as your destination happens to match hers. Naomi firmly believes she has an excellent sense of direction, and she isn’t shy about sharing her opinion.
Naomi has done well with dogs of all sizes, but she’s definitely the self-appointed CEO of the canine committee. She likes things done her way and isn’t afraid to let everyone know it. She should always be fed separately, as she prefers to enjoy her meals without company and will chase them away with gusto. She has done well with children and absolutely adores people, even with food, she doesn’t mind sharing with hoomans.
Confident, independent, and delightfully stubborn, Naomi is equal parts sass and sweetheart. The moment you sit down, she’d like to remind you that your lap now belongs to her. If there’s room beside you, she’ll happily curl up there too, but she’d much rather be plastered directly against her favorite human.
When she’s feeling playful, Naomi loves chasing squeaky toys before proudly carrying them off to her crate, where she keeps her growing collection of treasured loot. She’s also quite the conversationalist. Whether she’s barking at another dog while wagging her tail at warp speed to establish herself as “the boss,” making adorable little piggy grunts, or snoring with the enthusiasm of a buzz saw, Naomi always has something to say. Her hilariously raspy bark sounds like she’s been smoking two packs a day for the last 20 years, and somehow it only makes her more lovable.
Mention the word “walk,” pick up a leash, or even think about going for a car ride, and Naomi is ready before you are. She loves short strolls, rides beautifully in the car, and firmly believes the front passenger seat was invented specifically for her. Baths are tolerated with dignity… but she’d appreciate if you kept them to a minimum.
As for learning new tricks? Naomi has a different philosophy. She’s convinced you’ve already seen enough to know she deserves the treat first, and any tricks afterward are entirely optional.
Naomi will be finished with all of her veterinary care as of August 13. If you’re looking for a pint-sized companion with a huge personality, endless opinions, a heart full of love, and enough charm to keep you laughing every day, Naomi is ready to run your household… lovingly, of course.
