Some people come into your life and change its direction before you realize it. For us, two of those people are Will and Karianne. š„¹š¤
Two years ago, these Indiana natives became our friendsāand somewhere in beteeen learning new line dances together, they introduced Derrick and I to country swing and asked us to learn it with them. Looking back now, itās hard to put into words just how much that one invitation changed our lives. All the dancing, the friendships, the room we get to fill every Wednesday, the lives theyāve impacted by just asking us to learn something new with them- theyāre a huge part of the beginning of the Line Upās story.
Over the last year, weāve watched them grow as dancers, competitors, humans, and student instructors by putting time and heart into developing their skills both on and off the dance floor. Getting to share this journey with people who mean so much to us has been something really special. And now, we get to officially introduce them as official Country Swing Instructors for The Line Up. š¤
Will &Karianne will be teaching level 1 country swing every Wednesday. This is a class for beginners to dip their toes into what partner dancing and country swing is all about. Your first taste of your new addiction. This class is also a perfect opportunity for more experienced students to mentor newer dancers and grow their foundations of country swing. If you ever have questions or need help will and/or Karianne will be the perfect familiar face to grab for a conversation!
Will and Karianne, thank you for two years of friendship, for growing alongside us, and for always being Derrick and Iās biggest cheerleaders. Sometimes people forget weāre all just students learning this ever evolving dance and leaders needs support as well but Karianne and Will have never forgotten to pour back into Derrick and I with so much support. We love you both, and weāre so proud to share this next chapter with you.
