The Exotic Resort Zoo Are you looking for your own SAFARI adventure? We’re right here!! Centrally located to ATX & SATX! 🦒 This is the place for you!

When visiting us, you'll embark on an adventure through 137 sprawling wooded acres where 700+ exotic animals from 50 different species roam freely! We have a few different options for our daily visitors:

(1) Drive your OWN car through the park to visit the animals. Keep in mind that we are not responsible for damages to the vehicle from hooves, antlers or horns. That's just part of the FUN! * Online tickets required for Drive-Thru. *

(2) For a more unique and interactive experience, take a ride on the wild side on one of our Guided Tours! This is an open air tractor-trailer ride where the animals come from ALL directions. With a one-of-a-kind Tour Guide at your disposal, you’ll learn all about our babies and how we extend and preserve exotic wildlife here in Texas. * No reservations or online tickets needed for Guided Tour. *

We are a family-owned and operated business. So, it is each of YOU that keep us here and our animals taken care of. We can't wait to see you, whether it be a daily visit or an extended stay in one of our cabins.

Just a momma and her Oreo babes — we have a few different species of sheep here at the park: Black Hawaiian, Texas Dall, Moufflon, Auodad and Jacob’s sheep. All of which are unique in their own way. But, the little lambs? They just take the cake for the most precious babies around here. 🥹

Pygmy kids feel more secure in a concealed, cozy spot. They are also very curious by nature and love to play ‘hide and seek’ as part of their playful and social development. It seems that snuggling is also a core behavioral necessity too… wouldn’t you say?

Oh, hello there! 👀👀

Seems that most of our are having their babies early… what a blessing! There’s nothing more harsh than little ones hitting the ground during the tough Texas winter. This should give our babes plenty of time to acclimate and fatten up before the cooler months head our way.

We’ve had , , and more joining the family over the last few weeks. These little ones are excellent at staying hidden… so it’s definitely a treat when you are able to catch a peak! 💕

Soooooo… you’ve met Tyler our . But, we’d like to introduce you to Tirzah!

Girl, we have been waiting for you. Tyler has been so patient as we searched for the right girl to bring home, and we’ve been patient too. These guys are vulnerable, meaning their population is facing a high risk of extinction in the wild. With a low reproductive rate, high infant mortality and land clearing for agriculture there is not a great chance for population increase in the wild. This also puts pressure on captive tapir, making the species a little more difficult to find.

Luckily, Tirzah was looking for a new home at just the right time. The pair has been introduced in a new habitat and they are already smooching snoots. We are so blessed to now have a chance at participating in increasing the tapir population to preserve this species for the next generation. Plus, there is nothing more precious than a baby tapir! Swing by today to meet our pair of the most unique species of animal — the Lowland Tapir. 💕

MMM, THAT’S GOOD! 🍼

Nilgai Antelope actually nurse for up to 10 months! Our sweet Nelly has knocked herself down to only one bottle per day, but she comes eagerly running up as we call her name every afternoon. What a blessing it is to take care of some of God’s most precious animals!
