When visiting us, you'll embark on an adventure through 137 sprawling wooded acres where 700+ exotic animals from 50 different species roam freely! We have a few different options for our daily visitors:

(1) Drive your OWN car through the park to visit the animals. Keep in mind that we are not responsible for damages to the vehicle from hooves, antlers or horns. That's just part of the FUN! * Onl

(2) For a more unique and interactive experience, take a ride on the wild side on one of our Guided Tours! This is an open air tractor-trailer ride where the animals come from ALL directions. With a one-of-a-kind Tour Guide at your disposal, you’ll learn all about our babies and how we extend and preserve exotic wildlife here in Texas. * No reservations or online tickets needed for Guided Tour. *

We are a family-owned and operated business. So, it is each of YOU that keep us here and our animals taken care of. We can't wait to see you, whether it be a daily visit or an extended stay in one of our cabins.

Got that WEEKEND FEELINNNNNNN — we’re here all weekend, pals.

🚜 Guided Tours leave everyday from 9am to 5pm, no set schedule in place. We take off just as we need to accommodate our guests!

🚗 Drive-Thru visitors are recommended to buy online to reserve a spot. We only allow ten cars per hour to help traffic flow!

🦒Giraffe & Capybara encounters can be added on anytime during your visit for $5/person.

🐐Petting Zoo access is included with your admission!

Sweet Nelly 🥹🥹🥹

Nilgai Antelope are the largest Asian antelope, and the female are known for having twins. Typically, we’ve got some very good mommas, however in Nelly’s case, we had to intervene because she was significantly smaller than her sibling.

We’ve been blessed to bottle-feed & raise this girl in our petting zoo area and we are soaking up every moment with her during this time before it’s her turn to be released into the paddock with the rest of her herd! ✨

Speaking of new babies… ARE YOU FREAKIN’ KIDDING ME!!!! Screaming. Crying. Throwing up.

We’d like you all to meet Percy, our 8-week old African Crested Porcupine! He’s a little guy now, but this is the largest species of porcupine, growing up to 3 feet long and weighing up to 60 pounds.

🧠 Did you know? Porcupines do NOT shoot quills, however they will rattle the hollow quills in their tail to warn off predators. And let us tell you, Percy has that figured out down pat!

Percy will be in our gift shop for a while until we are ready to put him on exhibit with our current female. Make sure to stop by soon, but be prepared to die from cuteness overload. 🦔🦔🦔

Oops… did we accidentally have another social media hiatus?? Couldn’t be us. 🤣🤣🤣

We were just too busy soaking in our last few weeks of summer, sponsoring our local Fair & Rodeo, saying goodbye to all of our college kiddos & welcoming all the new babies joining the family. ✨

Now that most kiddos are back in school, things have slowed back down here at the park, but we are still eager to see you! Have the day off? Head our way — our hours remain the same year round!

Our parking lot monitor has officially flown the coop with her babes! 🥹🥹🥹

Killdeer are a year-round, Texan native who prefer to nest in open areas on the ground. This momma successfully laid, incubated and hatched four healthy chicks in our parking lot! Our keeper, Jay, kept us updated along the journey & was blessed to snag some photos of the little ones before mom led them to their next adventure. Isn’t nature cool? 🪺

Our little gift shop is tiny… but mighty. 💪🏼

We have ran daily operations out of our original gift shop for the entirety of our business! The same little four walls that started us back in 1995, are still the first and last thing each visitor sees. Sure, we’ve added an office & kitchen space, but the bones… they’re original. If walls could talk, we’re sure they’d have entirely too many stories to tell! 🤣🤣

We take pride in packing this little place full of unique, hand-picked & affordable souvenirs to bring home. Take a moment to stroll through before you leave, we promise you won’t regret it! ….well, maybe your wallet will… but, YOLO. 😅
