We’re excited to share that Play It Again Retro is moving to a brand-new location in Johnson City!

Follow along with us for updates on our grand re-opening in 2026.

And don’t worry—our old spot will still bring the fun!
We’re thrilled to welcome the new tenants at 1805 N Roan St, Suite G9: Neon Moon Pinball Lounge!
They’ll be opening later this year, so give them a follow Neon Moon ( on Insta — the “LE” is for Limited Edition pinball machines).

A little history for those who’ve been with us from the start (or those who love a good IFYKYK):
We reopened Play It Again in 2018 in the former Laser Storm location, bringing retro arcade vibes back to JC. From there, we dreamed bigger—and that’s how Tiebreakers was born.
That’s right… Play It Again created Tiebreakers, not the other way around. 💥

Now we’re gearing up for the next chapter, with that same retro feel you know and love—coming back in full force at our newly acquired (and still secret 🤫) location.

Over six years ago, we decided to test the market once again, decades later, after our original Play it Again/Laser Storm of the '90s. This retro arcade was always about prepping the Roan Centre for our large-scale Tiebreakers, which we knew would happen with God’s blessing. Our experience in Gatlinburg through the years has only helped improve the entertainment aspect of what would soon be the new creation Tiebreakers.

Tiebreakers never bought us out; we founded and created this 45,000-square-foot attraction from scratch. We are excited to announce that, while still working out the kinks, we have been able to make your play cards work at both Play it Again and Tiebreakers at the Win Big Emporium. We are enthusiastic about the future and the new games for Play it Again Retro. We plan to mostly install modern games with retro themes, all while collecting tickets that can be used at Tiebreakers!

In the meantime, as we continue to make improvements, play the new Turtles game!

Oh, and get ready for Laser Storm reimagined at Tiebreakers' newest addition: The Forgotten Kingdom - Laser Tag Adventure.
