Giants at Armageddon: Demonic Feast of the Gods
At the end of days, Scripture describes a terrifying event known as the Great Feast of God—when the armies of the Beast are defeated at Armageddon and their flesh becomes a sacrifice for the birds and beasts. But this feast has a much deeper origin.
Ancient Ugaritic texts speak of the Rephaim, the departed spirits of the giants, rising to attend the banquets of their gods. Ezekiel 39 and Revelation 19 echo this ancient image: a demonic feast prepared at the end of the age.
The demons that now roam the earth and Sheol—the disembodied spirits of the giants—will return to witness the final judgment.
