They are definitely something…

We're bringing a few things back to the farm.

Remember when people actually knew how to crochet, arrange flowers, play a good card game, take a picture without a phone, or simply sit around a table and learn something from one another?

We're creating opportunities at Re*****on Farm to do just that.

We'll be partnering with local makers, artists, and knowledgeable friends from our community of offer hand-on classes and experiences that introduce, or bring back, the skills, hobbies, and pastimes that once brought people together.

A little less screen. A little more making, learning, playing, and connecting.

AMERICAN BRESSE AVAILABLE AT RE*****ON FARM 🇫🇷

We have been raising American Bresse at Re*****on Farm and will have a limited number available for those looking to add this unique breed to their flock.

American Bresse are a dual-purpose breed, making them a great choice for someone who wants both excellent layers and a bird with truly exceptional meat quality. Bresse are famous for their flavorful, tender meat and are often considered one of the finest meat breeds in the world. They also have a reputation for being productive layers, making them a practical breed to keep beyond their value as a table bird.

Our birds trace back to 2015–2017 American Bresse import lines, and we are excited to be able to offer them locally here in northern Illinois.

🐣 What we’ll have available:
• Limited hatching eggs
• Day-old chicks
• 2–4 week old chicks
• Adult birds

For those interested in building a breeding flock, adults will be available individually, as pairs, or as trios.

We are also NPIP tested, which is important to us as we work to maintain healthy, quality poultry and responsibly share our birds with other flocks.

If you’ve been wanting to add American Bresse to your flock—whether you’re looking for a few birds for your backyard, interested in raising them for the table, or want to establish your own breeding group—send me a message!
