It’s that time of year again! The 2026 NADT Nutcracker Audition is Sunday, August 23rd! Calling dancers ages 8-10 to join the cast as Angels, Mice, Soldiers and some Party Boys. See you there, dancers! 🌟

Our NADA community has been fortunate to have Ms. Tatiana as part of our faculty since the very beginning of North Atlanta Dance Academy. Over the years, she has made a lasting impact on countless students through her teaching, mentorship, and dedication to our school.

Now, we have an opportunity to care for her in return.

Please join us in supporting Tatiana as she cares for her mother and navigates the added responsibilities and expenses that come with being her primary caregiver. Any contribution, large or small, can help ease some of the burden during this difficult time.

✨ Senior Spotlight: Petra Dinan ✨

Today we’re celebrating Petra Dinan, a graduating senior from Chattahoochee High School. 🎓

After 13 years at NADA, Petra will be attending College of Charleston, where she plans to double major in Exercise Science on a Pre-Med track and Dance.

▫️Favorite roles/pieces at NADT:
Lead Arabian in The Nutcracker, Dulcinea in Don Quixote, Vivaldi Four Seasons, and the Coppélia Pas de Deux during summer intensives.

▫️Favorite NADT memory:
“One of my favorite memories at NADT was rehearsing and performing the Dream Scene from Don Quixote with my friends. It was so much fun getting to become our characters and play off each other on stage. We made so many fun memories and laughed a lot together, and it’s something I’ll always look back on!”

▫️Advice for younger dancers:
“Always remember why you started dancing to begin with. Have fun and never lose the joy that comes with it!”

We are so proud of you, Petra, and cannot wait to see all that you accomplish in this next chapter. Congratulations! 🤍

✨ Senior Spotlight: Yamila Nunez ✨

Today we’re celebrating , a graduating senior from Lanier High School. 🎓

After 14 years at NADT, Yamila will be attending Georgia College & State University, where she plans to major in exercise science with hopes of becoming a physical therapist while also minoring in dance.

▫️Favorite roles/pieces at NADT:
Clara in The Nutcracker, Dulcinea in Don Quixote, and performing in Vivaldi.

▫️Favorite NADT memory:
“My favorite moments are when we’re in the theater, whether it’s dress rehearsal or the actual performance. I always have the most fun in the theater! My favorite part of being there is when everyone is backstage in the dressing rooms getting ready.”

▫️Advice for younger dancers:
“Live in the moment and have fun.”

We are so proud of you, Yamila, and so grateful to have been part of your dance journey over the past 14 years. Congratulations, and we cannot wait to see what’s ahead for you! 🤍

✨ NADT Senior Spotlight: Hillary Candra ✨

Today we’re celebrating .candra, a graduating senior from Cambridge High School.

This fall, Hillary will be attending University of Florida, where she plans to double major in finance and marketing.

▫️Favorite roles/pieces at NADT:
Arabian in The Nutcracker, La La Land as the Level 6 dance, and Don Quixote.

▫️Favorite NADT memory:
“Being backstage with all my best friends during Don Quixote (2024)! This show was one of my favorites to perform, and I loved being backstage with my favorite people before they graduated. NADT has given me some of my best friends, and we’ve had so many fun memories together!”

▫️Advice for younger dancers:
“Work hard, everything will work out how it’s supposed to!!”
